The first is helping you to create a meaningful and personalized wedding ceremony for what you are going to say to each other in front of friends and family at your wedding. Even if it is only the two of you, what you say to each other is important and worth putting some thought and effort into creating.

She then writes up all of the ceremony with your names printed in it on special paper and gives it to you as a memento after the wedding. The ceremony is created according to your Spiritual preferences, not hers.

Many officiants use only one ceremony with maybe a few changes depending on circumstances, and the couple has no say in it. The minister preaches what he believes in and what he thinks is right for them. With Barbara, your wedding is done your way.

The other service she provides is filling out the marriage license and mailing it in to the proper authorities in whatever county or state you need. This is what makes a couple married in the eyes of the state and is very important. Without a certified copy of the marriage license, a couple is not legally married and the bride cannot change her name on any social security or other cards.

Barbara sets aside time to get to the wedding site and officiate the wedding, and she takes the time to make sure that your ceremony is the way you want it to be. Her fee for any wedding is a base of $250. She will travel up to 30 miles at no extra cost, but if it is further than that, there is an additional fee to cover the cost of gas and her time, depending on distance.
